Flying to Bangkok / radio interview
Norman is flying to Bangkok, Thailand today. For those who did not get a chance to hear him speaking about highlights of the trip on a radio click on the link and you can listen and view a slideshow of photographs also http://www.youtube.com/ watch?v=EiUPNZFdejM
The interview was even better the second time around and a big thumbs up to the team back in Ireland for doing a great job on editing the Youtube slideshow :-) Have a great flight Norman and I hope the Thai troubles don't get in your way. Happy landings :-)
Norman REALLY should have included Australia in his circumnavigation. He could at least have come down through Indonesia, Timor then landed at Darwin before heading north again.
Norman Surplus is from Larne in N. Ireland. He is an accomplished autogyro pilot who has been active in many outdoor pursuits over the years. He is also an experienced crew member of a Royal National Lifeboat Institution rescue boat (similar to coastgurad recue) with responsibility for navigation and steering (coxswain). Norman is also the co-founder of clean energy technology company B9 Energy.
