Some nervous moments today when the SPOT tracking was intermittent and you were approaching a tiger reserve! Glad to see the fundraising appears to be picking up speed.
Another great flight today Norm, you are slap bang in the middle of India (Nagpur is the geographic centre) and well on your way to break the previous attempt in 2004, they got to Assam, so when you reach Myanmar the record is yours!! But the triumph will be when you step out of GYROX at Larne, what a day that will be. Every day your fame is spreading and we are all so proud of you. Have a great flight tomorrow, we will be following you intently as always. Have a good night and clear skies, fair winds and happy landings tomorrow :-)
Norman Surplus is from Larne in N. Ireland. He is an accomplished autogyro pilot who has been active in many outdoor pursuits over the years. He is also an experienced crew member of a Royal National Lifeboat Institution rescue boat (similar to coastgurad recue) with responsibility for navigation and steering (coxswain). Norman is also the co-founder of clean energy technology company B9 Energy.
Does this mean that Norman has broken the record....I won't celabrate until I know for sure!!
ReplyDeleteA gyro have never been flying so far away from his departure point
